Below is a recent excerpt from James May’s Telegraph column… shows he does have ’some’ taste after all!
‘But now I’m going to be honest with you, readers, and, more importantly, with myself. I really like this car (The new Porsche Boxster Spyder) because it has stickers on it and fancying a car because it says Porsche on its doors is like falling in love with a dimple and then moving in with the whole woman. I mean, you might be lucky, but it’s not a sound basis for a meaningful relationship.
But the really interesting thing is that decals, which for so long dwelt in some dark corner of appalling automotive taste, suddenly look good again. But only certain cars qualify for them. “Carrera” or “Clubsport” looks good on Porsches, and “quattro” is more than acceptable on certain Audis. Even a big “Subaru” sticker can look quite good on a WRX. There’s an unwritten rule in operation here and I don’t know what it is, but it may have something to do with motorsport laurels. That explains why “Corniche” would look stupid on the side of the Roller.
What really amazes me, though, is that there isn’t more of this going on. Once, those decals had to be produced using complicated and expensive dye-cutting techniques or painted on using a mask and a great deal of skill. Now they can be produced on readily available self-adhesive and weatherproof plastic film….’
SO, tell us what you want, and get it here!!!

How many uses are there for stickers!!!? Answer - MILLIONS!
There are thousands of commercial and industrial reasons for using stickers, from safety and hazard, to instructional and informative, but these attachable items have even more uses in the private sector!
- Return address stickers make colorful additions to the envelope of your letters and saves time by not having to write it out or go to the greater expense of pre-printing envelopes.
- Voicing your opinion in public is easy when you put a bumper sticker on your car.
- As a memento of your journeys, a sticker on your luggage of every city you have visited has become a cultural tradition.
- Kids of all ages love stickers, for being good, for being bad(!), for doing well, for absolutley no reason at all other than to stick on their brothers back!
We hope that a few of these ideas will inspire you to find yet another reason to use more Stickers!
